Brings over thirty years of Aviation experience to AeroPearl. Andy has been with the Paspaley Group since 2006 when he
joined as a Base Manager and Senior Aircraft Mission Coordinator for AeroRescue Pty Ltd who was contracted to provide
a dedicated 24/7 SAR service from 5 bases around Australia. Andy became the Operations Manager in 2008 and from 2015
managed all aspects of the contract until its cessation in February 2017. From 1999 to 2006 he was working with Surveillance
Australia Pty Ltd as a Training and Checking Electronic Observer on the Coastwatch contract. Prior to 1999 worked in
the Airborne Geophysics field in a variety of roles including Airborne geophysical survey operator, data processor
and finally as a Special Projects and Operations Manager. Andy has gained significant special missions aviation operational
experience throughout Australia, Africa, Asia and Europe.
Business Development Manager
Thomas Schachtner
Has been with AeroPearl since the beginning in 1997, following 10 years as a Flight Inspector in Germany and with Aerodata
designing and commissioning Flight Inspection Systems. Even though the roles have changed from Training Flight Inspector
through to Technical Services Manger to Contract Development, continues to keep in touch with Flight Inspection reality
by maintaining FI license and flying the occasional deployment, mainly on overseas contracts. Enjoys working with so many
different Flight Inspectors and Flight Inspection Organizations all over the world on diverse contracts.

Ian Haeusler
Joined Aeropearl team in 2012 in this role bringing extensive and diverse Aviation experience, 38 years, as a corporate
pilot and Manager. Added to this, holds and has held various CASA approvals and Chief Pilot positions, managed FIFO
projects for Western Mining, Century Zinc and BHP. Also held positions overseas with Cessna Aircraft Corporation,
Piper Aircraft corporation, Bell Helicopters and Pilatus.

Commenced Aviation career as an Engine/Airframe Apprentice with QANTAS in 1984 gaining experience in their overhaul
shops and line maintenance,

Hangar Foreman for Aircraft Engineers Associates, an MRO for GA aircraft at Archerfield Airport,
In 2002, started as a casual at Jetcare Brisbane airport as a LAME then took on the full time position in a supervisory
role in the hangar with aircraft maintenance.
At the end of 2006 commenced work as the Engine/Airframe LAME at Aeropearl and has worked his way up to the position
of Chief Engineer.
Chief Flight Inspector
Graham Claxton
Recently joined Aeropearl as the Chief Flight Inspector (CFI) from Cobham Flight Inspection in the United Kingdom as the Lead
Flight Inspector for Navigational Aids. In 2002, trained as a Flight Inspector, working mainly in the UK, Europe
and latterly the Middle East and Afghanistan. Previously worked at Teesside Airport in the UK starting as an apprentice
Air Traffic Engineer maintaining the ground based navigational aids, progressing to a senior supervising engineer and then
manager of the Air Traffic Engineering department. Has been involved with the aviation business for 35 years.
Chief Technical Services Engineer
Christopher Dean
Joined AeroPearl in 2011 with a background as a Systems Engineer working on Defence Aircraft and Air Traffic Systems. Technical
Services is responsible for ensuring the certification and continued compliance of the Flight Inspection System (FIS) to
international standards. Through stringent engineering change management processes, Technical Services also work
to bring new technology to the FIS, ensuring the most complete and advanced Flight Inspection service capability.
